Refit July 2007 - May 2009
Ganilly Rose / Aremiti fitted our criteria when looking for a boat - being structurally sound and of reliable construction, but in need of major refurbishment and re-equipping. We wanted a boat which we could customise to suit ourselves and which, when finished would, with all new equipment, be reliable and up to date, and ready for another 10 years of voyaging.
Gradually over the past two years in Bristol Marina, she has morphed from Ganilly Rose into Aremiti. We expected the refit to take two years, but probably not to dominate and take over our lives as much as it has. It has been very hard work, but rewarding and fun.
